Nancy Peters Sparrow, Allied ASID, NKBA

SENIOR DESIGNER

"Harmony in a home, to me, means spaces which reflect the people in it and complements their lifestyle. It’s creating balance between a home and its occupants, and it’s what I love the most about design!"

A background in both economics and interior design gives Nancy a unique perspective on design. She has extensive knowledge of the redesign process from conception to completion, and loves watching the transformation of a space from start to finish. Nancy believes that collaboration creates harmony in the design process.

Nancy is an involved member of the local chapters of the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA) and the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID). She also volunteers with community organizations. When not designing, you’ll find Nancy reading, cooking, enjoying photography, and spending time with her husband Jon and their Tom Cat.

Donella Olson, CKBR

SENIOR DESIGNER

"When a home is thoughtfully designed with an eye toward style, functionality, and - most importantly - the personality and lifestyle of its owners, it creates harmony.”

Since earning a Specialized AAS in Architectural Design in 1999, Donella’s career has evolved from Historic Restoration to Design/Build Remodeling, primarily in older Twin Cities homes. This background offers an appreciation for the intricacies of older homes. Donella is a Certified Kitchen and Bathroom Remodeler with the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI). Her experience proves a successful remodeling project is the result of collaborative planning - integrating homeowner lifestyle, creative design, skilled carpentry, professional trades, and a well-managed construction site. She believes every home has the potential to be great; it is the responsibility of great designers and builders to see that potential and succeed in its execution.

When Donella is not designing homes, she can be found spending quality time with her husband and two beagles or relaxing with family and friends.
