Keep the Neighborhood, Remodel the Home

Linden Hills

Our client wished to transform their classic 1940’s Linden Hills home into a memory-making destination for friends and family. Removing a wall between the kitchen and dining room expanded the main gathering space. The appliances and much of the cabinetry were kept but rearranged, and made-to-match cabinets were added. Heated tile floors, quartz countertops and a glass tile backsplash complete this conversation-friendly kitchen. In the lower level, extra original kitchen cabinets became a bar, the laundry room was relocated for ease of use, and the powder room was revamped into a spacious bath for guests. To complete the transformation, the upstairs owner's suite was reconfigured to gain closet space, and the dated bath was transformed into a sleek custom-tailored area with marble and glass, walnut and sparkling quartz.
