A Linden Hills Kitchen Reimagined

This client’s kitchen had many challenges. The space was so cramped that the refrigerator didn’t fit in the room. Plus, prior to calling White Crane—and contrary to their wishes—previous contractors said they’d have to tear out original built-ins and move a staircase to get the job done. Our solution was to reimagine the floor plan of the home. The former kitchen was transformed into a mudroom and an unused bedroom became their new spacious kitchen. The design not only allowed us to preserve the original hardwood floors, charming staircase, and built-in buffet, it allowed us to create more space for entertainment, storage and surface space, and the modern conveniences for this lovely Linden Hills home.
