Timeless Character Near Lake Nokomis
Minneapolis
This client wanted a kitchen and main floor bathroom that aligned with the character of their 1926 home. To open up the space, we gutted the kitchen and incorporated what was once the butler’s pantry into the new space. Birch cabinets with dark stain matched the home’s thick baseboards and oak floors. Complimenting neutral tones on the walls, backsplash and quartz countertop create a timeless elegance. In the dining room, a custom built-in that matched the kitchen cabinets ties the rooms together. Lastly, we converted the unusable full bathroom on the main level into a powder room with hexagon tile, a pedestal sink, crystal fixtures and birch cabinetry.
