Janea Medzagoh

Janea is a rising junior at the University of Minnesota College of Design, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design. She is also completing a minor in Sustainability Studies and an Applied Business Certificate focused on Managing for Sustainability, Innovation, and Quality. Her academic experience has introduced her to the remodeling and interior design industry, marking the beginning of her professional journey.

Her studies have shaped a strong commitment to human-centered, sustainable design, with a focus on creating inclusive, functional spaces that support both people and the environment. She aims to integrate her design, sustainability, and business knowledge to develop thoughtful and innovative solutions.

Outside of her work, Janea enjoys reading, trying new foods with her sister, and planning future travels. A Twin Cities native, she especially loves Minnesota in the fall, when she can spend time with family, enjoy the crisp air, and take in the changing colors of the season.
