Every White Crane Remodeling Project Starts With Design
What Is A Design:Build Company?
White Crane Design:Build specializes in residential remodeling. By having both designers and construction professionals on our team, we’re able to seamlessly and efficiently guide clients through the entire remodeling process.
Our designers are experienced experts that will ensure your home remodel fits your life and personal style. They will create a beautiful design that is not only tailored to your taste but will also improve the function of your home to fit your lifestyle needs.
Your designer will continue to work and communicate with you and a White Crane Project Manager through the construction phase until your project is completed.
Our Proven Process Delivers A Design
Unique To Your Style & Needs
First Call
We’ll call you to talk about your potential project. We’ll discuss your ideas, challenges, timeline, and budget. We’ll discuss why you want to remodel your home and options for achieving your remodeling goals.
Home Consultation
A White Crane designer will come over to your house for a complimentary consultation. We’ll look at the area(s) you want to remodel and discuss your needs, project vision, and design preferences. We’ll also take measurements and photos of your existing space to aid in the estimation process.
Design & Budget Presentation
You’ll come to our office to see a preliminary design concept based on previous conversations and our site visit. Ballpark pricing for your project will also be provided. We’ll present a Design Agreement for you to consider that details the scope of work and design fees for your project.
Design Development
Once you sign the Design Agreement, we work with you to turn the conceptual plan into a fully realized, detailed design. During this phase, your designer will collaborate with you to develop drawings, discuss specifications, and choose materials, fixtures, and finishes. In design meetings, you’ll review material samples (tile, flooring, paint, etc.) and make fixture selections for your new space. We’ll also schedule a trade partner site visit at your home. Through this process, your designer will help ensure the final design achieves your remodeling goals, reflects your personal style, and meets all building code requirements.
Construction Agreement Presentation
Once the design for your project is finalized, we’ll schedule a meeting at your home with our trusted trade partners, who will review your existing conditions and project scope to create bids based on our plans. About 2 weeks after the trade partner walkthrough, we present a construction contract with the final pricing and payment schedule for your project. When the construction contract is signed, the design process is complete, and we can move forward to the construction phase of your project.
Pre-construction Meeting
Let’s huddle with your project team to talk about logistics, what to expect, and how we’ll communicate with you during construction.
