A (Literal) Chef’s Kitchen Remodel in South Minneapolis
Twin Cities restauranteurs Amy Greeley and Doug Flicker wanted to update the kitchen in their classic South Minneapolis home. They were looking to keep the existing footprint but maximize efficiency with a smarter layout and update the finishes while staying true to the original charm and character of the home. The updated kitchen design includes new hardwood floors, modern appliances, and custom white shaker-style cabinetry with walnut countertops. The green tile backsplash adds a pop of color. Features like a built-in spice shelf and walnut butcher block countertops make cooking easier. The design includes personal touches important to Amy and Doug, like using butcher block countertop salvaged from their previous restaurant Piccolo. This really is a chef's kitchen!
