Mid-Century Modern Kitchen Remodel In St. Paul

Updated Kitchen Design Better Reflects Home’s Mid-Century Roots

Our clients wanted to update the traditional colonial style kitchen in their rambler to better reflect the home’s mid-century roots. They also wanted a more functional mud area for their family just off the attached garage entrance. The design includes custom walnut cabinets, white quartz countertops, and stainless steel appliances. The homeowners fell in love with a backsplash they saw online, so we replicated the pattern for the white mosaic backsplash in their remodeled kitchen. Adding a drop zone with coat, book bag, and shoe storage to the garage entry along with tile made it a more functional mud area. The built-in walnut cabinet off the mud area ties in with the kitchen cabinetry, creating continuity between the spaces.
