Minnetonka Whole House Remodel

It Started with the Kitchen But Became a Whole House Remodel

This Minnetonka family of four loved their house and neighborhood but wanted the spaces in their home to fit their lifestyle better. The current house configuration wasn’t working for the family, and many spaces in the home were unused.

Finishing The Bath

A slight veining detail moves across the surface of the matte grey hexagonal bathroom floor tile.

We’re finishing the en suite bath featuring calming, spa-like fixtures and finishes, including a free-standing soaking tub.

Our clients wanted to create a spa-like full bathroom for their new primary bedroom suite. The new bath design, a cohesive blend of classic and modern finishes, features a soaking tub and a multi-head shower system.

The grey hex tile floor has been laid and is ready for grout. The rough-in plumbing for the free-standing bathtub can be seen next to the far wall, under the window.

The Floor

The mid-century inspired hexagonal matte grey floor tile creates a calming modern feeling in the bath. A slight veining detail moves across the surface of this porcelain tile, creating the illusion of natural stone. The matte texture is perfect for providing traction in wet areas and also conceals smudges and residue from water drops. The thermostatic valve provides a consistent, safe temperature.

The Shower

We went for a luxe look with the shower design. The generous shower features semi-polished, marble-look porcelain tile, a concealed recessed drain, and a thermostatic shower system with multiply shower heads, hand shower, and body sprays. These features work together to create a modern luxurious vibe, similar to what you would find in an upscale boutique hotel.
